We are so excited to welcome you to a brand-new school year! Our counseling team is energized and ready to partner with your students for an extraordinary year ahead. I’m Ms. O’Neil, thrilled to serve as your new Head Counselor alongside our incredible co-counselor, Ms. Nimmons. We are especially proud to share that Ms. Nimmons was recently honored as Support Person of the Year! With such a dedicated, award-winning team, we are ready to bring so much positivity and care to our school community.
Aligning with DeKalb's Comprehensive School Counseling curriculum, our immediate focus is guiding our high achievers through smooth, confident back-to-school transitions. Our counseling department is dedicated to supporting your students academically, socially, and emotionally through tailored classroom lessons, small-group support, individual check-ins, and executive functioning strategies designed specifically for magnet learners.
