We are ready to open KMS Summer Enrichment Camp Registration! The information we sent about this in February is included at the end. Here are the steps to register:
Complete the Camp Registration Form no later than March 16th!
We will confirm that all camp registrations are from current KMS families.
On March 17th, confirmed registrations will receive their assigned camp week(s) and the link to pay online. You will have three days to complete payment ($250 per week) before your spot is given to someone else.
If we have spots open, we will offer camp registration to new incoming students starting April 10th.
In May, we will send detailed camp information about arrival and dismissal procedures, specific schedules and activities, and your child’s assigned group.
The following staff will be running camp: Ms. Floyd, Ms. Rowan, Mrs. Kraar, Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Sklamm, Mr. A-T, Frau Goverdhan, Mrs. Meyer, Ms. Towner and Mrs. Carlson.

We are excited to announce the launch of Summer Enrichment camp at KMS!

Dates
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Weeks of June 5, June 12, June 19 and June 26
Sign ups will be limited to 2 weeks based on camp theme*. Example schedule:
Theme 1, Week A - June 5-9
Theme 2, Week A - June 12-16
Theme 1, Week B - June 19-23 (tentative pending interest)
Theme 2, Week B - June 26-30 (tentative pending interest)
*Campers may not repeat a theme week.
Who can come?
Current KMS students, including our rising 7th graders (and our new incoming fourth graders, if space allows). Non-KMS students may not participate. 105 campers max per week.
Camp Staff
Kittredge Magnet School teachers and staff will fill all positions which include Director, Front Office, Group Activity Leaders, First Aid Station and Custodian. The following staff will be running camp: Ms. Floyd, Ms. Rowan, Mrs. Kraar, Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Sklamm, Mr. A-T, Frau Goverdhan, Mrs. Meyer, Ms. Towner, Mrs. Carlson and Mr. Robinson.
Camp activities
Students will rotate through all enrichment activities daily. These include:
Morning Meet-Up & Social Time
Movement:Indoor and outdoor games, sports, physical activities
Music: performance, singing, playing instruments
Literacy & Drama:performing/writing skits, poetry, & German
STEM:hands-on labs, robotics, coding, 3-D printing
Arts & crafts: explore techniques of the masters to create your own masterpiece
Expected cost
$250 per week payable online. Cost includes all camp materials, activities, salaries for staff and snacks. Proceeds benefit the KMS Foundation whose goal is to support the school through the hiring of additional school staff, building and grounds improvements and academic enrichment.
