Technology Troubleshooting Guide
The following guide gives an overview of digital resources, highlights technology tips, offers solutions to common problems, and gives a contact list for who to reach out to when you're still not able to fix your technology problem.

CHROMEBOOK FAQ:
Q: The Chromebook is choppy, laggy or has distorted audio during Zoom Calls. What should I do?

A: There are a few things you can try here. First, check to see if the Chromebook is up-to-date by following the instructions above. Next, make sure the Chromebook is getting a good network connection. The distortion could be caused by a strain on your home Internet connection with multiple family members on conference calls or streaming video. One solution may be to move closer to the router. If that doesn't resolve the issue, you could try purchasing a USB Ethernet adapter to plug the Chromebook directly into the modem. 

Q: The camera app doesn't work on the Chromebook. How do I fix it?

A: The camera app is blocked by the school district. However, the camera is available for video conferencing.

Locked out of Clever?
1. Open Chrome 2. Press Ctrl + H 3. Click Clear Browsing Data on Left 4. Click Advanced 5. Change time range to All-time 6. Check the Passwords and other sign-in data box 7. Then click Clear Data 8. Restart Chromebook and after about 15 minutes it should hopefully be good to go
