Mark your calendar for Friday, May 1st. It is Field Day, so come and share the thrills and spirit of our children as they take to the field and participate in athletic events such as running, jumping, throwing and team events. In case of inclement weather, Field Day will take place Friday, May 8, 2015.

The time schedule for each grade levels field day is listed below:

*4th Grade students will compete from 8:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

*5th Grade students will compete from 10:25 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

*6th Grade students will compete from 12:25 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.

Parent Information for Field Day

1. If your child has asthma, please allow him/her to bring their medication to school on this day.

2. Baseball caps are permitted; however the same school dress code policy will remain in effect for shorts and shirts.

3. Parent volunteers have been selected and contacted by courier. All volunteers need to arrive fifteen minutes before the start of the Field Day events so that I will have time to answer questions.

Thank you to Mrs. Beckford for chairing Field Day for the past three years. Your support and assistant has helped make the event a success.

I would also like to thank our parents for taking time away from their busy schedule to help with Field Day, and those parents that donated additional money for extra Field Day t-shirts. I truly appreciate all that you do to support our children and the Physical Education program at Kittredge.
